An Interview with Tony Booth

Tony Booth worked at Merchant Taylors’ School for 31 years, retiring last year.  Whilst at Taylors’ he held a number of positions, including Head of History, Head of Middle School and Registrar.  Serving under four Head Masters, Tony reminisces about his time at MTS, his favourite period of history, the numerous sports teams he coached and his most memorable interview with a prospective pupil.  He is interviewed by Joey Ricciardiello, a 4th Form Art Scholar who joined MTS in September 2014.  Joey has a keen interest in Journalism and cites English with Mr Morris as his favourite lesson.  The cameras were operated by Mark Eid (Divs), Ben Marcus (Divs) and Dominic Cherry (Divs).
