Merchant Taylors' School Archive

Assisted by volunteers, the school works hard to build, catalogue, and maintain the archive. Much of their work in recent years has been related to the First World War, but there are many more projects they have been working on recently. You can read about their work by clicking on the links below.

If you have anything you would like to donate to the Archive, we would be very happy to hear from you to discuss this. Furthermore, if you are interested in volunteering for the Archive this would also be very much appreciated. Please email development@mtsn.org.uk for further assistance.

Online Taylorian Archive

A few years ago, with funding from OMTs and parents who kindly donated to the Merchant Taylors' Fund, we created a digital archive of every edition of the Taylorian magazine dating back to 1878. If you are logged into this website, every edition is available to download as a PDF. You can then search them for words and names. So, for instance, if you want to find any mentions of the Alfred Marshall Economics and Politics Society from a given issue, you can do so. Or, you may wish to see mentions of a classmate, and you can search for them by name in a given year.

To log in to this site, you will need to enter a username and password. If you do not already have one, please click on 'new user registration' and enter the details you wish to use. You will then be given access to the pages. Click here to log in. If you are already logged in, click here to view the Taylorian Archive.
