An Evening with Max Hastings

On Wednesday 30th April, OMTs, parents and friends from the local community, came to the Great Hall at Merchant Taylors' to hear Sir Max Hastings talk about the First World War. Before speaking in front of a large Great Hall audience, Sir Max signed numerous copies of his recent book - Catastrophe: Europe Goes to War 1914. 

The talk, based on his recent book - Catastrophe: Europe Goes to War 1914 - was extremely interesting and wonderfully delivered. At the end of Sir Max's talk, the audience were given the opportunity to ask him questions, which brought to an end a very enjoyable evening.
