Middlesex Honours

Lower VI form Andrew Thomas has been offered a full Academy contract with Middlesex County Cricket Club: an outstanding achievement! Andrew thoroughly deserves this opportunity after an excellent 2014 season. At an England Talent Test last winter, he came top of the wicket keepers category and went on to represent London & East Region at this year's Bunbury Festival, where he was the leading run scorer in the competition. We wish Andrew all the best in his pursuit to become a professional cricketer. He is pictured here with former England Star, Graeme Swann.

Andrew Thomas has also been selected to represent the England U17 cricket team on a tour to the UAE against Pakistan in February. We wish him well on tour; he has been working very hard towards his goal.

Fourth Former and Sport Scholar, Max John, had been offered a place on the Middlesex CCC Emerging Player Programme: a fantastic opportunity for Max, and a stepping stone on the way to gaining an Academy contract. Max had a superb 2014 season for Middlesex, proving the huge potential that Middlesex have clearly identified. Max is pictured receiving coaching from former West Indies bowler, Corey Colleymore.
