Recent Leavers' and MTneSters' Lunch
Recent Leavers and parents reconnect over street food, drinks and ice creams
On Saturday 13th September, the Exam Hall and Rose Garden was the setting for the Recent Leavers and MTneSters’ Lunches. Despite the cool September weather, over 200 guests joined the Head Master and members of the SCR to enjoy a relaxed and cheerful gathering.
The event brought together the last five years of leavers, who clearly enjoyed seeing one another again and reconnecting with members of staff. We were delighted to hear tales of first weeks at university and gap year adventures as well as postgraduate study. We are also hugely grateful for the offers of support and careers advice for current students.
It was wonderful to see so many parents back at school too, ranging from parents of recent leavers to those whose sons left more than a decade ago.
The catering staff served lunch featuring street food and ice creams, alongside a range of drinks including craft beer supplied by local brewery, Creative Juices.
