Afternoon Tea 2024
On Wednesday 20th March we hosted our annual afternoon tea with tours of school for OMTs who left school 45 or more years ago – and they brought the Spring with them!
A dozen Monitors and JCR took tours of the whole school beginning and ending at the OMT Clubhouse. This was the first opportunity for most guests to visit the Julian Hill Indoor Cricket Centre which opened its doors in January this year.
A traditional afternoon tea, accompanied by a glass or two of fizz and prepared by our amazing catering staff, was served in the OMT Clubhouse. It was delightful to see so many OMTs and their guests enjoying the view of the playing fields while catching up with old friends.
The Thomas White Singers entertained with a collection of a cappella classics and finally our guests enjoyed seeing items from the archive. Thanks to the ongoing digitisation of the Everett collection we have a growing number of school photographs on display at the afternoon tea and hope to make these available online soon.
