Join Andy McNab for a night of excitement and adventure, as we celebrate Andys thrilling new read. Nick Stone is back in an up-to-the-minute thriller - ripped fresh from the headlines. The world is in a state of unrest and opportunists are looking to take advantage of an unstable world. Their motives are unclear. But their threat is real. Backed into a corner by a man he knows he cannot trust, ex-deniable operator Nick Stone strikes a devil's bargain. In exchange for his own safety - a life for a life - Stone is charged with locating someone who doesn't want to be found, currently hiding out in the one of the remotest corners of the UK. And for the first time in a long time, he's not operating alone.

Saturday 11 November
18:45 - 00:00
You are warmly invited to the annual Scrummers' Dinner Dance on Saturday 11 November 2017 from 6.45pm - midnight at MTS. This popular black tie event features a drinks reception, a 4 course meal served by the senior rugby team, an auction, a bar or BYO (£10 corkage payable on the day) and dancing to a live band. Run by the Scrummers, a voluntary parent committee, this event raises funds to support rugby at MTS. Last year, money we raised subsidised the major rugby tours and contributed towards extra kit, professional coaching sessions and pre-season training. We arrange the tables so family and friends with boys in the same school year sit together - come as a group, or on your own - and enjoy a quality evening in good company. If you prefer, you can book a complete table of up to 10 people but please email events@mtsn.org.uk to let us know the name of the lead contact and the names of the guests. You will still need to book the tickets via this website. Every year tickets sell fast, and we can only take bookings up until 6 November, so don't be shy and book your places early. Tickets cost £55 each. We look forward to welcoming you on the night. If you would like to join Scrummers, please email: carina.price@yahoo.co.uk.

Join us to celebrate the very first book by Billy Vunipola, the star of England’s rugby union team, and one of the finest players in the world today. Standing at 6 feet 2 inches and weighing almost 20 stone, Billy is a rampaging and unmissable presence on the rugby pitch, for both club and country. 'Wrecking Ball' is his captivating story so far, chronicling his remarkable personal odyssey of 10,000 miles, from the tiny Tongan village of Longo Longo to the imposing vastness of Twickenham. Join Billy on his journey from the year-round sunshine of Tonga to the bitter cold of a British winter, from his favourite Pontypool kebab shop to finding himself eating broccoli for breakfast, and from carefree childhood games in the middle of the Pacific to the serious business of playing professional rugby in Europe.
