Recent Leavers' and MTneSters' Barbecue 2024
There is a steady rhythm to life at Merchant Taylors’ School and at the beginning of each academic year the Head Master and SCR host the MTneSters’ Barbecue and the Recent Leavers’ Lunch. This happy occasion is a wonderful opportunity for parents of OMTs and leavers from the last five years to enjoy a relaxing afternoon reconnecting with each other and school.
The Class of 2024 were clearly excited to be starting on their next steps while the older years came to catch up with friends and staff and were ready to share their experiences on a variety of things from placement years to how to make the most of university life.
The OMT network is enduring, and this event is the first of many opportunities the leavers will have to strengthen and develop their connections. The Development Office the first point of contact for OMTs. We help to organise events, produce publications, manage volunteers for the school’s careers programme and run the school’s fundraising programme.
