Arts and Humanities Careers Fair March 2023
Around 400 pupils and parents attended our first ever Arts and Humanities Careers Fair on Tuesday 7th March. Throughout the evening, attendees were able to have informal discussions with exhibitors at 28 stalls in the Great Hall marketplace. The wide variety of professions and roles represented by our OMTs, parents and friends who volunteered their time to support the Fair is testament to the relevance of the Arts and Humanities subjects to the world of work. The three special interest talks covering Teach First, Degree Apprenticeships and Work Experience were all extremely well attended. This quote from one parent after the event was echoed by many others “Thank you for organising, it was a super event with lots of interesting people, very useful indeed!” On behalf of the pupils and Arts/Humanities staff at MTS, I would like to thank all our exhibitors and speakers from the wider MTS community for making this such a fabulous event to attend.
We are always keen to welcome volunteers to enhance our whole school careers programme, so if getting involved is something that might interest you, please do get in touch to explore what would work for you. Just drop us an email at careers@mtsn.org.uk to Sue Grice, Head of Careers.
