Afternoon Tea at Merchant Taylors' School

The photographs, which you can scroll through above, are taken from the Afternoon Tea we held in March 2024. This year, we look forward to hosting the event in June. If you left Merchant Taylors' School in 1980 or before, we're delighted to invite you back to school to see what has (and hasn't) changed since you were last here. Tours of the school with current Sixth Form students will commence at 2pm and will be followed by a traditional tea in the OMT Clubhouse from 3pm. Please use the form below to make your registration including any dietary or accessibility requirements. 

A list of those who have registered for tea will be made available nearer the time. If you know of OMTs from your school days who have not received an invitation, please do share this page with them or ask them to contact the Development Office as we would very much like to include them in the invitation.

When you register, there is the option, which is entirely voluntary, to donate to the Merchant Taylors' School Bursaries Fund. Gifts to this fund support boys who, without financial assistance, would not have the chance to benefit from the opportunities that a Merchant Taylors' School education gives. Even as independent school costs increase, we are committed to extending these opportunities as far as possible. Thank you for considering making a donation.

Finally, credit card charges are not levied on payments to the school. Instead, the service provider, Blackbaud, includes an option at the end of the form to leave a voluntary donation towards the card charges. However, please note that you are under no obligation to pay the charge — the school does not benefit from this additional donation — so paying the charge is entirely at your discretion.
