Careers Convention 2015

On 25th November, we hosted 35 guest speakers from industry for our Fifth Form Career Convention. Parents and OMTs, as well as external speakers, gave freely of their time to inspire students, as they outlined the realities of their profession and the opportunities that may lie ahead, joined us. The Convention is an excellent way of widening our boys’ ideas of what they might do and giving them access to people doing jobs which they might not have considered. The more information they have the more informed and confident their choice of profession will be.

We offered 46 seminars over the course of the afternoon, enjoyed by the combined Fifth Forms of MTS and St Helen’s – some 250 students.
