Benefactors' Day 2015
On 12th December, the Development and Alumni Relations Office welcomed everyone who had supported the School since September 2014 to a festive drinks reception in the new Design Centre. Prior to the reception, tours of the School were given by current members of our JCR. Guests were able to see the changes to the School, as we as reminiscing about their time here, visiting old classrooms and haunts.
All of our guests had the opportunity to take a tour around the new building and see the amazing facilities the Design Centre offers, including six 3D printers. Our guests were then treated to a range of carols by the superb Thomas White Singers, whilst enjoying canapés and a glass of prosecco. The Head Master thanked all our benefactors and spoke about what had been achieved with the support we have received this year. He explained that this year had been the most successful fundraising year we have had so far, raising over £650,000 towards bursaries and projects around the School. Thank you to everyone who has supported us.
Thank you also to our tour guides on the day: Deji Arole (JCR), Michael Bonney (JCR), Henry Gee (JCR), Kieran Patel (JCR), George Poole (JCR), Cameron Yule (JCR); the Thomas White Singers: Greg Kraftman (5ths), Ben Hunt (4ths), Marcus Cox (L6th), Rafi Kelion (U6th), Ben Peart (U6th), Nat Warren (L6th), Zac Bub (U3rd), and George Wright (U3rd) for their performance; Rohan Gupta (U6th) for his photography and Dave Fayer and his team for the catering.
