Under 15A Hockey - Season Report

The U15A team have gone unbeaten this season! This is a fantastic achievement where each and every player has contributed to the success of the squad. Despite our unbeaten season it was not all easy, and although we didn't lose a game we did draw three.

These three draws were undoubtable our best games. Despite not winning, the boys' desire not to lose was so great that they kept out the attacks and retained their unbeaten status. Ben Gould was the outstanding player of the season and being our goal keeper was a key reason we did not lose a game. The most improved player of the season was Freddy Hart who has gone from strength to strength and shown that hard work really does get recognised; he has been a key figure this season. Ore Olubode captained the side this season and received the award for all round contribution to the U15s. He has been an excellent captain both on and off the pitch and is held in very high regard amongst his peers.

Every single player has been outstanding and shown huge potential for senior hockey next year. The boys are already talking about 1st team hockey; a realistic target if they work hard between now and next January. I am excited about their prospects and look forward to seeing how they develop.
