Afternoon Tea - 20th March 2019

On an early Spring day, we were delighted to welcome back over 70 OMTs and their wives and guests back to Merchant Taylors' School for tours in the sunshine and a splendid afternoon tea in the Exam Hall. 

Whether it was the first trip back in some years or a just a refreshing of the memory, tours were conducted by Upper 6th form JCR boys and school boy stories were shared! We were proud to be able to show our wonderful new Geography building which is the culmination of many years of passionate teaching and enthusiastic learning. Not only that, OMT (1965) and Emeritus Professor, Alan Sommerstein gave a fascinating talk about the history of classics at Merchant Taylors' School which has produced so many outstanding classics scholars.
